Carter Noordsij

Carter Noordsij has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Carter started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Wrightspeed, where they assisted with mechanical design and assembly tasks. Carter then joined Rist-Frost-Shumway Engineering as an Engineering Intern. Carter later worked at MACOM as an Electrical Engineering Intern, conducting lab work and creating a web application for test plan management.

In 2020, Carter joined UpTime Solutions as a Software Developer, where they built two applications, including a data simulator in Python and a web application using Django and React/Redux. Carter then moved to Wayfair, where they initially worked as an Analyst in Growth Marketing, followed by roles as a Technical Analyst and Senior Technical Analyst in Growth Marketing Analytics. In these positions, they developed forecasting methodologies and collaborated with the Data Science team to implement a gradient-boosted tree model.

Currently, Carter holds the position of Marketing Data Analyst at FinditParts, started in 2023.

Carter Noordsij attended Dartmouth College from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they pursued further education at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth from 2018 to 2020 and completed a Master of Engineering Management (M.E.M.) degree. Although the field of study for their master's degree is not specified, it can be inferred that it is related to engineering management. In terms of certifications, Carter obtained the Certified SolidWorks Associate certification from DS SolidWorks Corporation in February 2018. Carter also obtained the PSIA Level I Alpine Certification from PSIA-E/AASI (PSIA/AASI - Eastern Division) in July 2016.
