Eric Benda

Eric Benda has over 35 years of work experience in the technology industry. Eric currently holds the position of Head of Technology Recruiting at Finer Recruiting, LLC since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Rocket Science Compliance, LLC starting from September 2022.

From November 2020 to May 2023, Eric worked as the VP of Strategic Services at Coretelligent, where they managed IT, Cybersecurity, and Private Cloud Services. Eric also played a significant role in designing cloud computing environments for financial services firms.

Before joining Coretelligent, Eric was the Chief Technology Officer at Soundshore Technology Group, a company they founded in 1998. Under their leadership, Soundshore grew into a highly sought-after technology compliance company in the finance services sector. At the time of its sale to Coretelligent in 2020, Soundshore provided outsourced IT support and technology leadership to over 100 clients with a total of $200 billion combined Assets Under Management. As the CTO, Eric oversaw all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, including data centers and cloud computing.

In 2003, Eric founded CentraScan, LLC, where they served as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer. The company developed a software solution for email compliance for SEC security and technology. CentraScan experienced significant growth under Eric's leadership and was sold to Smarsh in 2008.

During their career, Eric also worked as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager at Robert Half as an independent contractor. Eric'srole involved working on integration projects and new technology rollouts for clients such as CitiBank, FICO, Chiron, Levi Strauss, Charles Schwab, and Chevron.

Eric started their career at Thomson Reuters in 1987, where they began as a technical support provider and later transitioned into inside sales for clients on the American and New York Stock Exchange. Eric'sfocus was on options market makers, and they became a registered options trader during their time at Thomson Reuters.

Overall, Eric Benda has demonstrated extensive experience and expertise in technology leadership, compliance, strategic services, and recruitment throughout their career.

Eric Benda obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, General from Fordham University between 1983 and 1987. Eric also holds several additional certifications including QualysGuard Certified Specialist from Qualys in 2015, Palo Alto Certified Network Engineer from Palo Alto Networks in 2014, and Ruckus Big Dog from Ruckus Wireless in 2013.
