Kent Pedersen

Kent Pedersen has extensive work experience in the field of algorithm design and management in the telecommunications industry. Kent currently serves as the VP Head of R&D, Mobile, PC and Access, as well as the Managing Director of Fingerprint Cards Aps at Fingerprint Cards. Prior to this, they held various roles at Fingerprint Cards, including Managing Director and Senior Director of Algorithm Development.

Before joining Fingerprint Cards, Kent Pedersen worked at Broadcom as the Senior Manager and Program & Project Manager, where they led algorithm design programs and projects for Broadcom's LTE chipset portfolio.

Prior to their time at Broadcom, Kent Pedersen was employed at Renesas Mobile Corporation as a Program & Project Manager, specializing in LTE L1 algorithm design.

Kent began their career at Nokia, where they held several positions, including Senior Project Manager and Program Manager for LTE algorithm design. Kent also served as a Modem Architect and 3GPP delegate at Nokia, responsible for GSM/EDGE modem architecture and representing the company in 3GPP TST GERAN. Kent also worked as a Senior Specialist, Algorithm Design, Specialist, Senior Design Engineer, and System Design Engineer during their tenure at Nokia.
