Thomas Espersson

Thomas Espersson has a diverse work experience, starting in 2002 as a Software Development Engineer at Ericsson. Thomas later joined Ericsson AB as a Project Leader and then moved to ST-Ericsson, where they held various positions such as Software Project Manager, Advanced Project Manager, and System Integration Project Manager. During their time at ST-Ericsson, they worked on large modem projects, coordinated integration teams, and managed the development and testing of software. In 2009, Thomas joined Fingerprint Cards, first as a Consultant for Experis Sweden, where they focused on business development and setting up efficient processes and tools. Thomas then transitioned to Fingerprint Cards as a SW Project Manager and later became the SW Development Manager, responsible for a team that grew to over 20 engineers working on software for fingerprint sensors. Most recently, they served as the Head of Quality, Security & System Tools, overseeing security and quality functions, environmental and sustainability work, and compliance with ISO standards at Fingerprint Cards.

Thomas Espersson completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Lund University, which they attended from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a Naturvetenskaplig linje (Natural Science) study program at Bergaskolan Eslöv from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, they attended Hjälmareds folkhögskola, Idrott&Friskvårdslinjen for a year from 1998 to 1999, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
