Riikka Savela

Riikka Savela has a diverse range of work experience in graphic design and illustration. Beginning in 2015, they worked as a Kuvittaja (Illustrator) for a private client. In 2016, they were a Graafinen suunnittelija (Graphic Designer) at Satavision Oy and also worked as a Visuaalinen suunnittelija (Visual Designer) at The Student Union of Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OSAKO), where they were responsible for event branding and visual design. Riikka then worked as a Kevytyrittäjä (Freelancer) offering graphic design and illustration services, billing through UKKO.fi, from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they took on the role of Visuaalinen suunnittelija musikaalille (Visual Designer for a musical) at Madetojan Musiikkilukio, where they created visual materials for the production and marketing. In 2019, Riikka worked as a Opettajan sijainen - graafinen ala (Substitute Teacher - Graphic Design) at Lybecker Institute and as a Junior Brand Designer at Design Studio Brandstein. Riikka also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer during this time. Since 2020, they have been employed as a Marketing Artist at Fingersoft, specializing in graphic design and creating marketing materials for print and social media. Riikka is known for their professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks.

Riikka Savela attended Lybeckerin opisto - Koulutuskeskus Brahe from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Vocational School degree in Graphic design. Later, from 2015 to 2019, they studied at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences, focusing on a Bachelor of Culture and Arts degree. Additionally, in 2017 and 2018, they enrolled in Oulu Game LAB to further their skills in Game and Interactive Media Design.
