Mikko Piironen

Mikko Piironen has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Operational Planning at Fingrid Oyj since June 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Vantaan Energia Sähköverkot Oy, where they served as Operations Manager from July 2022 to June 2023. Before that, they held various positions including Operations Planning Manager from May 2017 to July 2022, Maintenance Engineer from December 2012 to April 2017, and Jakeluverkon rakennuttaja from May 2008 to November 2012.

Mikko Piironen has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aalto University, which they completed in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia, graduating in 2008.
