Ashutosh Shankar

Ashutosh Shankar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Ashutosh started their career at PwC in 1995 as a Deputy Manager and worked there until 2003. After that, they joined Convergys where they held various roles such as Director - Head Corporate Audit - International Operations and Director - Head Global Business Compliance. In 2012, Ashutosh worked as a Global Audit and Compliance Group Consultant at NorthgateArinso before moving back to PwC as a Director, focusing on internal audit and governance risk & compliance. In 2016, they became the Vice President (officer) at The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Ashutosh then joined Mastercard and has held several positions, including Vice President Internal Audit and Vice President Finance - CFO Transactis. Currently, Ashutosh holds the position of Vice President - Head of Finance - Open Banking at Mastercard and is also the Finance Head - Open Banking at Mastercard's subsidiary, Finicity. Throughout their career, Ashutosh has been responsible for various audit and finance-related functions, including recruitment, development of audit staff, risk-based audit planning, and financial management.

Ashutosh Shankar received their Chartered Accountancy degree in Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's of Commerce degree in Accountancy from Lucknow University from 1992 to 1995. Ashutosh also earned a Bachelor of Administration degree in Business Administration from Newport University from 1993 to 1995. Ashutosh completed their Class XII education in PCME (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English) from La Martiniere College, Lucknow from 1985 to 1991.
