Dylan Jenkins

VP, Portfolio Development at Finite Carbon

Dylan Jenkins is Finite Carbon’s Vice President of Portfolio Development. He leads U.S. project origination and client relations and has over twenty-five years of experience working with private forest landowners toward the protection and sustainable management of working forestlands.

Dylan joined Finite from The Nature Conservancy where he developed market-based strategies integrating land protection, certified forest management, and forest carbon markets and started his career as an extension forester at Virginia Tech. He was SAF’s National Young Forester of the Year, served on the SAF National Committee on Forest Policy, and chaired SAF’s Certification Review Board. At home he enjoys outdoor projects and mountain biking the Appalachians with his wife and kids.

Dylan holds a B.S. Forest Resource Management from Clemson and a M.S. in Forest Management and Economics from Virginia Tech.
