Duncan W. Clark

Mr. Clark has been with Finkelstein & Partners since his graduation from Law School in 1978. His initial responsibilities included motion and research work, as well as assisting trial attorneys in the more complex cases in State and Federal Court in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

In 1980, he assumed the position of the principle Appellate attorney for the law firm. He prosecuted and defended appeals in all four appellate divisions in New York. He also argued before the Court of Appeals. Additionally, he continued to handle the more complex research work for the firm, especially in the area of labor law for the protection of injured construction workers.

In 1989 Mr. Clark became the supervising partner of the Motions/Appellate department within the firm. This department is responsible for all legal research, as well as the Motion and Appellate work done in support of the firm’s cases, as well as for the sister firms, Jacoby & Meyers and Fine, Olin & Anderman. Duncan is also responsible for reviewing and providing direction for each case accepted by the firm. He works in conjunction with all the attorneys in the firm to develop strategy for the successful prosecution of cases.
