Ben Ritchey

Ben Ritchey has a diverse work experience in the field of metallurgy. Ben is currently working as the Director of Operations at Finkl Steel since July 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Technical Director from January 2020 to August 2022. Before joining Finkl Steel, Ben worked as the Group Chief Metallurgist at the same company from May 2018 to January 2020. Ben also has experience working as the Chief Metallurgist - Forming Technologies at MPG "Performance Driven" for a period of 11 years, starting from October 2007 to April 2018. Ben briefly worked as a Senior Metallurgist at Northstar Aerospace in 2009 and as a Plant Metallurgist at Bodycote from September 2005 to October 2007. Ben's earliest job in the field was as a Plant Metallurgist at Brunner & Lay, where they worked from October 2002 to September 2005.

Ben Ritchey attended Northwestern University from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1999, they studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Materials Engineering degree.
