Niko Pakarinen

Niko Pakarinen is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in engineering services and safety management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering Services at Finnair since September 2018, Niko previously contributed as an Aviation Safety Risk Manager. Niko's prior roles include Lead Business Transformation Engineer and Senior eEnabled Business Integration Engineer at Cathay Pacific Airways, where involvement focused on the eTechLog implementation for the fleet. A long tenure at Finnair from 1997 to 2016 saw Niko hold various positions, including Process Owner for Deicing and Fueling Operations and Technical Supervisor/Aircraft Inspector. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Business Informatics from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Häme. Niko began a career in aviation as an Aircraft Mechanic after completing vocational training.
