Susanna Sironen is a highly experienced researcher with a focus on forest planning and economics. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at the Finnish Environment Institute since November 2015, Susanna previously held the position of Researcher at the same institute from August 2010 to September 2015. Prior to this, roles included Planning Officer for the MSc European Forestry program and Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland from 2000 to 2009, as well as Assistant of Forest Mensuration Science. Educational qualifications include a D.Sc. in Forest Planning and Economics and an M.Sc. in Agriculture and Forestry, both from the University of Joensuu.
