Benoit Launay

Benoit Launay is the Co-Founder and CTO at ABAKA. Prior to ABAKA, they were a Data Insights Product Manager at Microsoft from June 2005 to March 2016. In this role, they were responsible for growing SQL Server, Azure, and Office 365 through solution selling to the CFO, CIO & BUIT leveraging Power BI, Big Data & OLTP scenarios. Additionally, they planned, drove, executed and partnered with subsidiary divisions to deliver high business impact marketing activities and launches.

Before their time at Microsoft, Benoit was a Project Manager at Atos Origin from December 2003 to June 2005. In this role they were responsible for Pre-sales, Customer offerings including the development of proof of concept and bid management. One of their notable projects was the Mobile Compliance project for Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA) where they were the lead developer for the mobile application component of the 80M£ contract.

Benoit Launay has a diploma in IT from the Technical University of Munich, a masters from Centrale Lille, and certifications from Microsoft in MS: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer for .NET.
