Xiahong Gao

Xiahong Gao is a senior software engineer who has worked for Facebook from August 2011 to October 2015. Xiahong is currently an engineering director at Fintopia. Xiahong was responsible for leading the engineering team for the payment settings product, which consolidated all commerce products into one great experience. Xiahong was also responsible for leading the engineering team for games payment, which allowed facebook games to easily accept international payments. In addition, they led the payment reliability & monitoring system, which improved the reliability of payment flow from 99.5% to 99.99%. Xiahong also designed and ran a series of payment growth experiments, which increased revenue by 10 million in 3 months.

Xiahong Gao has a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
