D. Dean Dest

D. Dean Dest has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. They started their career as a Senior Programmer / Analyst at Fiserv in 1982 and worked there until 1997. From 1997 to 2003, they served as a System Analyst at Ocwen Technology Xchange Inc. They then moved on to Open Solutions, now part of Fiserv, where they held the position of Senior System Analyst from 2003 to 2008 and Business Analyst from 2010 to 2011.

In 2012, D. Dean Dest joined DJP, LLC as a Senior Systems Analyst, where they were responsible for various projects including developing legacy system user documentation, enhancing system performance, and implementing programming solutions. They worked at DJP, LLC until 2015.

Following that, they worked at Fiserv as a Business Analyst in 2016 and transitioned to the role of Technical Writer in 2019. They contributed to various technical writing projects until January 2023.

In 2016, D. Dean Dest also worked as an Independent Consultant. They joined Benedict Group, Inc. in 2018 as an IT Consultant and Finvi as a Senior Technical Writer in September 2022, where they currently work.

D. Dean Dest pursued their education in Communication and Media Studies at Emerson College from 1977 to 1980. Following that, they acquired a Certification in Computer Science from the Computer Processing Institute in 1982. In addition to their formal education, Dean obtained certifications in "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in October 2022.
