Derek Whitaker

Derek Whitaker is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, specializing in network engineering, VoIP telephony, and software engineering. Currently serving as Senior Director Government and Voice of the Customer at Finvi since January 2021, Derek previously held senior leadership roles at Ontario Systems, where responsibilities included strategic design and development of cloud-based products and systems. As an IT consultant in mid-2016, Derek provided strategic guidance on business plans and development. Prior to that, a significant tenure as CTO at Convergent Resources, Inc. highlighted a robust career in technology leadership. Derek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from City University of Seattle between 2003 and 2005.
