Michael Morris

Michael Morris has a diverse work experience in the field of technical writing and editorial services. Michael started their career as a Writer at BIAO Magazine in 2007, where they contributed regularly to different segments of the magazine. Michael then joined Creative Entertainment & Media, Inc. as a Screenwriter, Producer, and Consultant, where they worked on advertising campaigns and generated funding for various projects until 2011.

In 2011, Michael became the Owner and Editor at STAR Editorial, providing professional editorial services with a specialization in the entertainment and publishing industries. Michael worked on a wide range of documentation projects until 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, Michael worked as a Documentation Developer (Technical Writer) at Cerner Corporation, responsible for developing and updating technical documentation. Michael then joined GDH as a Contractor - Instructional Designer at KCP&L, where they designed instructional materials until 2018.

In 2018, Michael joined Dell Technologies as a Technical Content Developer (Technical Writer), focusing on creating technical documentation until 2019. Michael then transitioned to Tyler Technologies (Formerly NIC USA INC) as a Technical Writer, where they worked until 2023.

Currently, Michael holds the position of Senior Technical Writer at Finvi, starting in May 2023. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in technical writing, editing, and content development, collaborating with engineers and programmers to deliver accurate and clear documentation.

Michael Morris attended Johnson County Community College from an unknown start year until 1988, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. From 1992 to 1994, they attended Emporia State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Additionally, Michael Morris has obtained certifications in CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA A+ from CompTIA, although the specific timing of when they obtained these certifications is unknown.
