Zindzi Folmer

Zindzi Folmer has extensive experience in child development and support for adopting families. Currently serving as a Gezinspedagoog & VIB-G’er at Fiom since January 2021, Zindzi provides guidance to adoption families in South Netherlands concerning attachment, trauma, parenting, and child development. Previously, Zindzi worked as a Gezinspedagoog at Adoptievoorzieningen from April 2013 to January 2021, assisting similar families and contributing to the development of resources for adoptive parents. Earlier roles include Locatiemanager Kinderopvang at Kinderdagverblijf Pimmetje Leiden from January 2011 to March 2015, where Zindzi managed the opening of a new childcare location, and as a Pedagogisch medewerker at Kinderdagverblijf Pimmetje from October 2006 to December 2010. Zindzi holds a Master of Science in Pedagogical Sciences from Universiteit Leiden, completed in 2009.
