Green Skills Project Facilitator at Fircroft College of Adult Education

Dr Lou Mycroft FRSA is a multifaceted educator and leader with extensive experience in adult education and community development. Currently serving as a Green Skills Project Facilitator at Fircroft College of Adult Education, Dr Mycroft focuses on addressing climate emergency challenges through education. In addition, Dr Mycroft holds significant roles as Vice-Chair and Chair of Standards and Performance at Chesterfield College, Co-Director of Thinking Cultures and FE Constellations, and Co-Founder of the JoyFE💛 Collective. As Editor of Fusion Magazine UK and a Fellow of the RSA, Dr Mycroft emphasizes joy in educational practices. An external examiner at the University of Dundee and CollectivED Fellow at Leeds Beckett University, Dr Mycroft's academic background includes a PhD in Community Education from The University of Huddersfield and various degrees in education and public health.
