Shimi Ben Giat

Shimi Ben Giat has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shimi began their career as a Combat Soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, where they served as a Tank Gunner and was responsible for the platoon tanks' communication system and encryption devices.

After their military service, Shimi joined KSP as a Salesperson, where they worked from July 2017 to August 2019.

In 2020, Shimi transitioned to the field of technical support. Shimi worked as a Technical Support Specialist at ONE Technologies from July to December 2020.

Then, they joined Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. in December 2020, starting as a Technical Support Engineer (T2) and later becoming a Technical Support Engineer (T3) in September 2021. Shimi worked there until May 2022.

Currently, Shimi is employed at Fireblocks as a Technical Support Engineer, starting in May 2022.

Shimi Ben Giat attended See-Security: Cyber & Information Security College from 2020 to 2021. During this time, they focused on Network and System Administration/Administrator. In September 2020, Shimi obtained the Linux Essentials certification from the Linux Professional Institute.
