Mike Partin, also known as Pace, has extensive experience in demand generation and digital marketing. Mike started their career in 2002 as a Marketing and Advertising Coordinator at Leisure Holding Inc, where they focused on search engine optimization and campaign analysis. Mike then worked at Los Angeles Times as a General Assignment Advertising Representative, assisting with print and online advertising for automotive dealership clients.

In 2007, Pace joined Nett Solutions as an Account Executive, managing search engine placement and analyzing PPC and SEO campaigns. Mike later moved to Doner Advertising as a Search Engine Marketing Manager, where they oversaw multi-million dollar SEM accounts for clients such as Mazda and Roy's Restaurant, developing overall SEM and Interactive strategies.

Pace's next position was at Toshiba as a Senior Online Marketing Manager, where they managed online marketing activities for the Toshiba Direct sales site and led the Toshiba Direct Affiliate marketing program. Mike then joined SendGrid as a Director of Demand Gen and Digital Marketing, where they played a key role in growing the marketing department and optimizing marketing programs using various toolsets.

Following their time at SendGrid, Pace worked at Twilio Inc. as a Director of Demand Gen and Digital Marketing for Twilio SendGrid. In this role, they were responsible for strategic marketing planning, online marketing acquisition, lead generation, and paid advertising budget management. Pace successfully scaled advertising spend while increasing conversions and revenue.

Most recently, in 2020, Pace joined DigitalOcean as a Senior Director of Demand Gen, Growth, and Digital Marketing. Mike built and led the Demand Generation team, focusing on revenue growth and cost-saving efficiencies. Pace's strategies contributed to a successful IPO with over 45% year-over-year revenue growth.

Currently, Pace holds the position of VP of Demand Gen & Growth at Firebolt, where they leverage their expertise to drive demand generation and growth initiatives.

Mike Partin / Pace attended California State University, Fullerton from 2000 to 2005, earning a B.A. degree in Business with a focus on Marketing and Communications, specifically Advertising.
