Yuliya Kurs (Syniak)

Yuliya Kurs (Syniak) has had a varied career in software engineering, starting with a role as an Expert in Certification and Declaration at the Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2013. Yuliya then moved into freelance web and Android development in 2015. In 2017, they joined EPAM Systems as a Java/AEM Developer, where they developed AEM components and backend services using OSGI, as well as contributed to platform upgrade and content migration. In 2018, they moved to SVAPS Systems as a Software Engineer, where they developed an end-to-end IoT cybersecurity product, and accomplished a dashboard redesign. Finally, in 2020, Yuliya joined Firedome as a Full Stack Team Lead and Software Engineer, where they implemented new features based on product requirements and worked alongside a software architect to increase throughput of the backend.

Yuliya Kurs (Syniak) obtained a Master's degree in International Economics from Zaporizhzhya National Technical University between 2008 and 2013. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Java Web Service Development from Mail.Ru Group.
