Burak M.

Burak M. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Burak started their career at İnturlam Bilişim in 2010 as a Co-Founder and Software Development Engineer. In 2012, they became a Co-Founder and R&D Team Leader at Romasis Otomasyon, where they focused on enabling natural user interaction in robotics using image processing techniques. Burak then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at TOBB ETU from 2012 to 2016.

In 2014, they joined Arçelik Global as an R&D Engineer, eventually working their way up to the roles of R&D Engineer Specialist and Senior Specialist/Data Solutions.

In 2019, Burak started working at Firefly, initially as a Senior Data Engineer. Burak later transitioned to the role of Team Lead - AdTech and is currently serving as the Head of AdTech Engineering.

Burak M. began their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University from 2006 to 2010. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi, which lasted from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they enrolled in the Middle East Technical University (METU) to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Information Systems, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

In terms of additional certifications, Burak M. completed the Data Analyst Nanodegree program from Udacity in April 2017. Burak also attended the Deep Learning Fundamentals Workshop at the Graduate School of Informatics, METU, offered by NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute in October 2017. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Embedded Linux Kernel and Driver Development from Free Electrons in December 2014. Additionally, they hold edX Honor Code Certificates for both Advanced Software as a Service and Software as a Service, although the exact dates of completion are not specified.
