Abie Irabor

Abie Irabor possesses extensive experience in the film and theatre industries, currently serving as a Script Scrubber for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, contributing to the Nicholl Fellowship Process since September 2019. Prior roles include Production Assistant for prestigious awards shows and training as a Press Guide for the 95th Academy Awards. In addition to work in production, Abie is actively involved in performing arts as an Actor, Writer, and Voice Actor with various companies, including Free Street Theater, Lifeline Theatre, and Artemisia Theatre. Abie has also contributed to education as a Summer Camp English Teacher in Italy. Holding a Master’s Degree in Acting from DePaul University and a BA in Media and Cultural Studies/Women Studies from the University of California, Riverside, Abie has cultivated a diverse skill set in both creative and educational contexts.
