Alexandre began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Outra Coisa and also completed an internship at Inteligência Computacional Aplicada / PUC-Rio, where they used genetic algorithms to optimize gas distribution for the Brazilian government gas agency.

Alexandre Marangoni Costa earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) from 2008 to 2013. Alexandre later pursued a Master's degree in Optimization and Automatic Reasoning from the same university, completing it from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, in 2011 to 2012, they attended ISAE-Supméca – Institut supérieur de mécanique de Paris, where they studied Industrial Engineering.
