Tamer Abdelwahed

Tamer Abdelwahed, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at First Abu Dhabi Bank Misr since July 2023. Previously, Tamer held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Suez Canal Bank from August 2017 to July 2023, where responsibilities included driving growth and profitability through strategic direction. Tamer's extensive career also includes roles as Head of Business Planning & Analysis at Barclays from February 2005 to July 2017, Personal Banking Operations Officer at Credit Agricole from February 2004 to January 2005, and Senior Financial Analyst at Citi from January 2000 to January 2004. Tamer holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce & Business Administration from Ain Shams University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst, having studied at the CFA Institute.
