Gloria Alfstad

Gloria Alfstad is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full stack development, currently serving as Lead Full Stack Engineer at First Advantage since January 2019. In this role, Gloria leads a team of 10 to create a microservices-based application using Spring Boot, JMS, and Angular for managing background checks for contract employees. Prior to this, Gloria held positions as Senior Full Stack Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the Biometrics Team utilizing Java and C#. From 1995 to December 2018, Gloria worked at FPX as a Senior Computer Programmer, developing and supporting a Configure-Price-Quote B2B SAAS application integrated with major CRMs, as well as serving as a Computer Programmer at Firepond, primarily focusing on a CRM OnDemand SAAS product. Gloria holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Dakota State University, obtained between 1992 and 1995.
