Paul French

Paul French is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analytics and business intelligence. Currently serving as the Director of Data and Analytics at First Central since August 2021, Paul focuses on fostering a data-enabled culture to drive business value and growth. Prior to this role, Paul took a brief hiatus before a long tenure at Nationwide Building Society, where from December 1993 to March 2021, Paul held various leadership positions, culminating as Director of Business Intelligence, Visualization, and Reporting. In this capacity, Paul was instrumental in implementing an organization-wide strategy to enhance data literacy and self-service analytics. Paul also led a high-performing Business Intelligence center of excellence, overseeing a team of 90, and was responsible for the BI Competency Centre's strategic execution and the management of finance-related projects. Paul holds a degree in Business and Finance from Northampton College and has a foundational education from Northampton School for Boys.
