Brian G. Karrip

Brian Karrip is an experienced financial executive with a career spanning over three decades in credit and banking. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at First Commonwealth Bank since September 2016, Brian Karrip oversees the Credit Department, including Secured Credit, Special Assets, Collections, and Credit Services. Previously, Brian Karrip held a similar position at FirstMerit Bank, managing the Specialized Banking Group. Brian Karrip played a pivotal role in building a $2 billion portfolio in large corporate capital markets and has extensive experience from KeyBanc Capital Markets and National City Bank. Brian Karrip holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, both from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
