Fiona Mcgilly

Fiona McGilly has extensive experience in HR and people management. Fiona began their career in 2007 at Allianz Insurance, where they served as an HR Business Partner for over seven years. In 2014, they joined Citi, continuing their role as an HR Business Partner until 2017. McGilly then moved to FD Technologies, where they assumed the position of Global Head of HR Operations for six years. Currently, they are the Head of People at First Derivative, a position they have held since 2023.

Fiona McGilly has a diverse education history. In 2005, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management with DIS at Ulster University, which they completed in 2009. In 2012, Fiona obtained their Chartered MCIPD from CIPD Qualifications. Fiona furthered their studies at Ulster University, where they earned a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from 2012 to 2013. In 2020, Fiona attended the William J Clinton Leadership Institute at Queens for a Senior Executive Programme. Lastly, in 2021, they completed a Diploma in Corporate Governance at The Corporate Governance Institute, focusing on Corporate Governance.
