David O'Connor

David O'Connor currently serves as General Counsel at First Eagle Investment Management, a position held since January 2017, overseeing legal and compliance matters. Prior to this role, David worked as an Investment Management Consultant from May 2015 to December 2016 and spent nearly two decades at Delaware Investments, where responsibilities included Executive Vice President and General Counsel, focusing on strategic investment relationships and initiatives. Earlier in David's career, an associate position was held at Ballard Spahr LLP from September 1992 to July 1996. David O'Connor earned a Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts from Gordon College in 1988, following education at Mount Mansfield Union High School, graduating in 1984.
