Nodar Makharashvili

Nodar Makharashvili's work experience includes:

- Starting in 2022, they worked as the Associate Director of Assay Development at First Light Diagnostics.

- From 2019 to 2022, they held multiple roles at Nuclease Probe Technologies, Inc., including Director of Research and Development and Sr. Scientist. In these roles, they led the medical device development team, coordinated cross-functional efforts, presented data to investors, established a molecular diagnostics platform, recruited and mentored junior staff, and conducted various laboratory techniques and software applications.

- In 2018, they worked as a Consultant and Senior Scientist at Macromoltek Inc. As a team leader, they managed interns and technicians, oversaw R&D budget and grant funding applications, conducted market research, produced marketing materials, managed project timelines and deliverables, and performed molecular cloning and protein expression and purification techniques.

- From 2009 to 2018, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin.

- From 2003 to 2009, they worked as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant at Saint Louis University.

Nodar Makharashvili's education history begins in 1997 when they enrolled at Saqartvelos Teqnikuri Universiteti to pursue their Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology. Nodar successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2003.

During the same period from 1997 to 2003, Nodar also attended Ivane Javahišvilis Sakhelobis Tbilisis Sakhelmtsipo Universiteti, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry. Nodar completed this program in 2003 as well.

Following their master's degree, Nodar pursued further studies at Saint Louis University School of Medicine from 2005 to 2010. During this period, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry.

In addition to their formal education, Nodar Makharashvili has obtained various certifications through LinkedIn. These certifications cover a range of topics including leadership principles, happiness, decision-making, and communication skills. The certifications were obtained between February 2022 and June 2023.
