Miguel Alcaide

Miguel Alcaide is a Senior Molecular Diagnostics Scientist at SAGA Diagnostics AB since April 2020, specializing in digital PCR. Previous experience includes a Research Associate position at Simon Fraser University from May 2014 to April 2020, focusing on ultrasensitive methods for detecting circulating tumour DNA. Alcaide has held several postdoctoral fellowships, notably at Harvard University, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, and The University of British Columbia, applying next-generation sequencing and molecular methods to address complex genetic and evolutionary questions.
