Alvaro Ruelas Sanchez

Alvaro Ruelas Sanchez currently serves as the Head of Human Resources for First Majestic Silver Corp. in Mexico since March 2019, providing leadership in human resources initiatives. Previously, Alvaro held the position of Gerente de Relaciones Laborales at Newmont Goldcorp Corporation from June 2010 to March 2019, overseeing compensation, recruitment, payroll, and labor relations for a workforce of approximately 2,900 employees, including 2,200 unionized workers. Alvaro's extensive experience also includes serving as Gerente de Relaciones Laborales at HEINEKEN MÉXICO from April 1999 to June 2010, where responsibilities included managing collective bargaining agreements across multiple states in Mexico for a workforce of around 4,000 employees while liaising with various labor unions.
