Clara Sekowski

Clara Sekowski has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Clara started their career as an Assistant Programs Director at Leadership Initiatives, where they created and oversaw Sister School divisions in California. Clara then worked as a Research Assistant at Bard Summer Research Internship and Research and Development International Corp., gaining expertise in algebraic representations and elliptic curves. Clara also served as an Intern at Octree Corporation and a Research Assistant at Luminus Ortho Corporation.

In 2011, Clara joined Bard College as a Student and later became a Quantum Optical Coherence Tomography Lab Admin. Clara also worked as a Mathematics Tutor and a Global Energy Lab Assistant, gaining proficiency in physical modeling and tutoring.

Clara's interest in aerospace engineering led their to work as an Aerospace Engineer at Tethers Unlimited Inc. and a Systems Engineer at Planetary Resources. Clara then joined First Mode, where they held multiple roles, including Systems Engineer, Director of Modeling & Simulation, and Director of Strategic Research & Development.

More recently, Clara embarked on entrepreneurship by establishing their own company, Renascent Athletics, where they serve as the Owner.

Clara Sekowski obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Practice from Boston University, spanning from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics and Mathematics at Bard College from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their academic degrees, Clara also holds certifications in Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach from Precision Nutrition (obtained in June 2020), Wilderness First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (obtained in January 2013), and CrossFit Level 2 Trainer from CrossFit, Inc. (obtained in September 2018).
