Tanille Johnston is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social work, health care, and community services. Currently serving as a Councillor for the City of Campbell River, Tanille also holds roles as the Administrator and Founder of Maya'xala Culturally Centered Home Studies and Integrated Services, which focuses on providing culturally appropriate services to Indigenous families. As Regional Manager of Primary Care for the First Nations Health Authority, responsibilities include overseeing the development of a primary care model tailored to the Vancouver Island region. Previous positions include working as a Patient Health Care Navigator at the Kwakiutl District Council Health Office, Child Protection Social Worker with the Ministry of Child and Family Development, and Guardianship Social Worker at Surrounded by Cedar Child and Family Services.
