Jamie Kugelberg

Jamie Kugelberg has a diverse work experience in the field of housing and supportive services. They currently hold the position of Vice President of Housing and Supportive Services at First Place for Youth, a role they started in September 2021. Prior to this, Jamie worked as the Regional Director of Programs in Los Angeles for First Place for Youth from June 2018 to August 2021. Before joining First Place for Youth, Jamie served as the Director of Program Operations at Illumination Foundation from November 2013 to June 2018. They were responsible for overseeing the successful operations of the organization's housing program and managing emergency house shelters and scattered site permanent housing operations. Jamie also has experience as a Program Director at Caterina's Club from August 2012 to November 2013, a Family Enrichment Specialist at Girls Inc. of Orange County from September 2009 to June 2012, and a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Hope Counseling Center from May 2009 to February 2010. Their early work experience includes serving as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Outreach Concern from September 2008 to May 2009 and as a Youth Partner at Olive Crest from September 2007 to November 2008. Throughout their career, Jamie has demonstrated a commitment to providing housing support and improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.

Jamie Kugelberg completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Biola University from 2003 to 2007. Afterward, from 2007 to 2010, Jamie pursued a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University.
