Lauren Grayman, MA, MFT has extensive work experience in the non-profit sector. Lauren served as Assistant Vice President of Programs for First Place for Youth, where they oversaw program operations. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Director of Contra Costa and Solano Programs, as well as the Clinical Manager.

Before joining First Place for Youth, Lauren worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Bay. Lauren held various roles, including Associate Executive Director, Executive Director, and Director of Programs. In their role as Director of Programs, they were responsible for managing program operations, supervising staff, and expanding services to reach more youth, including those with incarcerated parents and in foster care. Additionally, they worked as the Youth4Youth Coordinator and Program Manager, implementing and managing the high school mentorship program in Marin County.

Lauren also had a volunteer experience with Cross Cultural Solutions in Costa Rica, where they taught English, worked in an orphanage, and contributed to a butterfly farm.

Overall, Lauren has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, as well as a commitment to supporting youth in need.

Lauren Grayman, MA, MFT completed their education in psychology at two prestigious institutions. Lauren obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Brandeis University between the years 1994 and 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Clinical Psychology at the New College of California from 2004 to 2006. With their solid background in the field of psychology from both undergraduate and graduate studies, Lauren Grayman has developed a strong foundation to support their career as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
