Anurag Jaroli

Anurag Jaroli has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, holding various leadership positions. Anurag is currently serving as the Chief Growth Officer at First Policy Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Symbo Brokers Pte Ltd. as a Member of the Board of Directors from August 2020.

Anurag also served as the Head of Reinsurance & CFO at Symbo from July 2018 to April 2022. Anurag played a crucial role in developing the in-house expertise in marine construction and energy lines of business and successfully placed several large and complex deals in direct and reinsurance.

Before their time at Symbo, Anurag co-founded ReLeague Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. in 2016 and served as a Director. Anurag oversaw contract negotiation and legal activities, directed the finance and operations division, and advised the founding team on financial planning and policy matters. Anurag had a successful exit from the company in 2019.

Anurag started their career as an Article Assistant at AVS & Co., Chartered Accountants. There they gained experience in finalizing annual reports, handling income tax returns and assessments, sales tax returns and assessments, and accounting.

Anurag Jaroli has a diverse education history. Anurag first pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at College of Commerce & Management Studies, Udaipur from 1999 to 2002. Afterwards, they obtained a Senior Secondary & Higher Secondary qualification at St. Pauls Senior Higher Secondary School, Udaipur from 1995 to 1999. Anurag then went on to attain a Master's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce, Accounting & Statistics from Mohanlal Sukhadia University between 2003 and 2005. During the same time, they also studied to become a Company Secretary at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, specializing in Secretarial & Legal. In the period of 2007 to 2009, Anurag attended the College of Insurance, Mumbai, where they acquired an Associate Membership of the Insurance Institute of India with a Marine Specialization. Lastly, they completed their education as a Chartered Accountant at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2001 to 2004.
