Michael Upton

Michael Upton serves as the SVP of Digital Strategy and IT Operations at First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard since December 2023. Previously, Michael held the position of Chief Digital Officer at First Tech Federal Credit Union from 2013 to December 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing digital revenue and strategy across various business lines. Prior experiences include Vice President of Digital Banking at Capital One, Senior Vice President of Emerging Capabilities at Bank of America, and Chief Operating Officer at Harbor Payments, acquired by American Express. Michael Upton completed a Master’s equivalency from Pacific Coast Banking School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Political Science Law from Oregon State University.
