Lazaro Beltran

Lazaro Beltran, Ph.D. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in technology, product reliability, and manufacturing across various industries, including semiconductors and smart glass. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at First Solar since August 2024, Lazaro previously held multiple leadership roles at View, Inc., where innovations led to significant improvements in product reliability and manufacturing processes. Prior experience includes principal engineering at Skorpios Technologies, where manufacturing yield was dramatically improved, and software engineering at Applus+ RTD focusing on advanced non-destructive testing methods. A former R&D process engineer at Intel, Lazaro's notable achievements include enhancing testing efficiency and reliability across multiple product lines. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Alabama, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
