Evan Wixom

Evan Wixom has extensive experience in the fields of marketing, journalism, and loan services. Currently serving as a Loan Officer at First State Bank since April 2019, Evan has also held roles as a Lending Assistant and Digital Marketing Specialist within the same organization. Prior experience includes working as Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant/Technical Writer at Black Bros. Co., as well as serving as Digital Media Editor for La Salle NewsTribune, where responsibilities included website upkeep and content generation. Earlier in the career, Evan worked as a News Reporter for Lasalle County Broadcasting, a Sports Reporter for Lakeland Times, and held various reporting roles at Peoria Journal Star and NewsTribune, accumulating over 50 bylines across multiple sports. Academic credentials include a degree in Communications with a focus on Marketing from Bradley University, obtained between 2011 and 2014.
