Mauro Palomaro

Mauro Palomaro has a diverse work experience in the information technology industry. Mauro is currently employed at First Tech as CTO, where they have been since August 2022. Prior to this role, they held various positions at First Tech, including Strategic Service Management from December 2017 to August 2022.

Before joining First Tech, Mauro worked as a Governance Manager at Agility Networks Tecnologia from August 2016 to March 2017. Mauro also served as an Operations Manager at First Tech from November 2014 to July 2016, and as an IT Consultant at Bizella Informática from August 2013 to November 2014.

Mauro has extensive experience in operations and support, having previously worked as an Operations and Support Manager at Novitech Serviços e Tecnologia from June 2011 to January 2013. Mauro also worked as an Infrastructure and IT Consultant at Inove Tecnologia em Redes from September 2008 to October 2009, and as an Infrastructure and IT Manager at G&P Projetos e Sistemas from April 2006 to July 2008.

Additionally, Mauro worked at AOL Brasil as an IT Manager from August 1999 to May 2006, where they played a key role in infrastructure projects and the development of operations processes and procedures. Mauro started their career as a Support Analyst at EDS Brasil from February 1992 to June 1996, providing on-site support and network deployment services to clients.

Throughout their career, Mauro has demonstrated their expertise in IT operations, project management, and compliance with best practices and methodologies like ITIL and ISO 9000. Mauro has also gained experience in service level agreement development and security requirements.

Mauro Palomaro obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André in the years 1983 to 1987. Additionally, they completed a Master's degree in Information Security Management at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2003 to 2004.
