Kate Benedict

Kate Benedict has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Kate currently works as the Community Engagement Director at First Tech Federal Credit Union where they activate team members to engage with meaningful causes in their communities and drives First Tech's social impact. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director at Financial Beginnings Oregon from 2016 to 2023. Kate also held positions at Oregon Food Bank as Programs Manager and Community Food Program Coordinator, at Impact NW as Energy Assistance Lead and Case Manager/SNAP Program Specialist, at JCRC St. Louis as a Mazon Hunger Fellow, at Washington University School of Medicine as a Research Assistant, and interned at Nuestra Casa.

Kate Benedict attended West Anchorage High School from 2004 to 2008. Kate later attended Washington University in St. Louis where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from 2008 to 2012.
