Jerry West

Jerry West has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jerry started their career in 1995 as an Engine Product Support Representative at Syracuse Supply Company, where they were responsible for parts and service sales on Caterpillar engines. From 1999 to 2010, Jerry worked as a Territory Sales Manager at Cummins Northeast, selling diesel and natural gas engines and achieving consistent sales goals. In 2010, they joined the City of Rochester as an Equipment Training Coordinator, designing and implementing training and safety programs. Jerry also worked at Teletrac as an Account Executive and at Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. as a Sales Representative.

In 2011, Jerry took on the role of Owner/Entrepreneur at Double J Audio Video Services, where they installed and designed low voltage audio-video systems. Jerry then became an Account Executive at Teletrac, managing the Upstate New York territory and focusing on GPS tracking for efficiency and safety. From 2011 to 2012, Jerry worked at Progress Rail, A Caterpillar Company - EMD Power Products as a Parts Sales Manager, overseeing a $65 million aftermarket business.

Beginning in 2012, Jerry joined Electro-Motive Diesel as a Power Products Marketing & Distributor Support Specialist, where they quoted, sold, and supported EMD medium-speed diesel engines. Jerry also led the Power Products commercial gas initiative and trained dealers on product advantages. In 2020, Jerry moved to DRiV Incorporated as a New Business Development Commercial Vehicle specialist.

Currently, Jerry is the Director of Business Development for First Transit, where they are responsible for contracting fleet maintenance services and ensuring reliable maintenance budgets.

Jerry West attended Medaille University from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
