Dessie Sadrzadeh

Dessie Sadrzadeh serves as an Angel Partner at Firsthand Alliance since November 2021 and has held the position of Senior Director of Product and Engineering for Google Experience Platform since September 2018. Responsible for the engineering and product strategy behind Google's Material Design, Components ecosystem, and standardization efforts, Dessie influences billions of developers. Former leadership roles include Vice President of Engineering at Salesforce, where Dessie oversaw foundational Lightning UI technologies, and Senior Director of Engineering at Yahoo, leading the Y! Homepage and mobile media initiatives. Additional experiences include engineering leadership at Gap Inc, Finaplex Inc, and Providian Financial.
