Aaron Sawchuk

SVP Data Center & Cloud at FirstLight

Aaron Sawchuk has held various roles in the data center and cloud industry throughout their career. In 1995, they founded Dream Communications, an internet service provider focused on small businesses in the metro-Boston market. Aaron successfully expanded the company's services to include internet connectivity, broadband, private line, and enhanced host services. Sawchuk then joined ColoSpace, Inc. in 2001 as Chief Technical Officer and later became Chief Operating Officer. ColoSpace operated secure data center facilities and offered colocation, cloud, and managed data services. In 2010, Sawchuk co-founded FirstLight Fiber. Aaron served as Chairman and played a crucial role in the company's growth. In 2020, they became the Senior Vice President of Data Center & Cloud, responsible for driving organic and inorganic growth, implementing sales enablement strategies, and evaluating strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities.

Aaron Sawchuk attended Middlebury College from 1998 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
