Jean Weatherwax

Jean Weatherwax is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Lead at First Round Capital since October 2021. Previously, Jean held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at HomeLight, a Software Engineer at Jyve Corporation, and a Software Engineer at Branch Metrics. Jean also contributed as a Mobile and Web Development Immersive Instructor at General Assembly and engaged in electrical engineering research at Hewlett-Packard Labs. Early career experiences include work at NASA Ames Research Center and research roles at the University of South Florida, focusing on biosystems and semiconductor technology. Jean holds a Master of Science in Analogue and Digital Integrated Circuit Design from Imperial College London and another MSc in Space Science & Engineering from UCL, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of South Florida.
