Shamita Mukherjee

Shamita Mukherjee currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Firstsource, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this, Shamita held the same title at Infosys BPM from October 2024 to May 2025 and served as CHRO for Infosys subsidiary companies from June 2012 to September 2024, where responsibilities included leading people and culture initiatives across a diverse portfolio. Additionally, Shamita was the Senior VP & Global Head of Total Rewards, overseeing compensation and benefits for a workforce across 50 countries. Early career experience includes serving as Business Head for South Asia at Mercer and as Head of International HR at Infosys BPM. Educational credentials include a PGDPMIR in HRD from XLRI Jamshedpur and an Executive Programme in Business Administration and Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
