Derek Pickering

Derek Pickering is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and analysis across various industries, including financial services and insurance. Currently serving as a Senior Product Analyst at FIS since September 2023, Derek previously held key roles such as Manager of Product Management at Boston Mutual Life Insurance, where effective collaboration with stakeholders led to improved enrollment capabilities. At SS&C Technologies, Derek was instrumental in transitioning key clients to new digital platforms. Earlier positions included developing user interfaces at E*TRADE and extensive product management responsibilities at Fidelity Investments. Derek began a career in human services and media before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Mount Ida College.
